THE AYURVEDA THOUGHT of the week:

Ayurveda - thus the healing of diseases by medicine from nature - was always existing in the whole world. Also in Europe monks maintained their own herb gardens and manufactured medicine. At present Ayurveda is well-known in the western world mostly because of the "Wellness" treatments. Medical success of this asiatic cure method AYURVEDA are not well-known therefore. Famous are Acupuncture and TCM in the meantime also in the west. Since Ayurveda adjusts EVERYTHING with the individual person, treatments are often complex and require a well co-ordinated team, how it is at my disposal e.g. in the Lotus-Villa.

Our "Cateye" Mr. Saman married (he got this nickname because of his green! eyes). It was a great celebration with over 300 guests. We wish them both the very best for their future common life and we are particularly pleased about the fact, that they will remain true to Lotus-Villa also after their wedding. PHOTOS
In March 2008 the Sri Lankan Ministry for Ayurveda registered the Lotus-Villa as an "Ayurvedic Medical Institution", that is as an Ayurvedic clinic. With that it is confirmed by the Ayurvedic specialists, that we undertake correct, authentic Ayurveda. You can get granular on the registration certificate HERE.
