Sockets / Electricity

Sri Lanka's electricity uses 220 volts. You do not need an adapter or in-between plug. The sockets however, have three wholes but only the two bottom ones carry electricity. The top third whole is a child lock which holds the two upper ones closed. At your arrival we will show you how to use the sockets rightly. We have adapters available for the three-poled Swiss plugs at the office.

Batteries

Batteries "including special sizes" are available in our supermarket as well as in bigger shops. Please remember that here batteries drains much faster than at home due to the high humidity.
