Vaccinations

It is very difficult to give the right recommendation. On one hand some want to "play it safe" in order to be guarded against everything, Others on the other hand don't. Therefore we only give you the recommendation to be careful, as very often "businesslike" more is sold than is really necessary. For Ayurvedic treatments western medicine is mainly not a problem, as our physicians in any case must adjust the medicine that you will be given by us, with your own medicine.

Please differentiate precisely between "prescribed/ordered" and "recommended"!

You will notice that for example at the moment (July 2004) not even one vaccination is ordered for people from Germany, but there are many recommendations. We at the Lotus-Villa have a physicians team that is available 24 hours a day and which also know what to do in an "emergency". For example against mosquito bites exists a very effective Ayurvedic oil that one can purchase in our "Ayurveda-Supermarket". Mosquito nets are provided in the rooms, which are opened for you at night time.
