Half-day Trips

For those of you who are coming to Sri Lanka for the first time (but it is also interesting if you have been here before) we have put together an interesting selection of half-day trips so that you can get to know the country and its people.

If you want to join a half-day trip please fill in your name in our travel list which is displayed in the restaurant. This list contains information about our travel programme. The list is also used in the ayurveda-department to co-ordinate treatment times and travel times.

Currently, we are offering the following half-day trips which you can order directly from our office at Lotus-Villa. (All prices are inclusive of admission fee, driver and vehicle):

Half-day trips available:

+ To the tea factory in Elpitiya:6 €

+ To Ambalangoda’s mask makers and batik factory: 5 €

+ Boat trip to the Maduganga lagoon of Balapitiya in the morning: 7 €

+ Boat trip into the lagoon in the afternoon: 7 €

+ To the silk factory and Fort in Galle: 6 €

+ To the turtle farm and "Toddy-tappers": 5 €

+ To the weekly market in Uragasmahandya: 4 €

+ Bicycle trip: 4 €(paid to the owner of the bike).
